Update Laravel User Password Using The Command Line
You can update a users password by running the following commands from the command line. First step is to open Artisan Tinker:
php artisan tinker
Then, run these commands - replace the email address and the password as desired
$user = App\Models\User::where('email', 'firstname.lastname@example.org')->first(); $user->password = Hash::make('my_password'); $user->save();
Now, the users password is updated. In the example above, the user email@example.com has now the password my_password.
